Network Support Engineer in Buffalo Grove, IL

Technisource is searching for a .Network Support Engineer with 5+ years of experience to assist one of our clients in the Northwest Suburbs for a 6 month+ contract opportunity. The client would like to see a candidate with strong experience in a Cisco environment and solid understanding of F5, level II & III support, LAN/WAN, EIGRP, BGP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, QOS, NAT, and Multicast.The position details are listed below, please apply directly or send your information to (click to respond) for consideration.JOB DESCRIPTION- Cisco Router/Switch- 5+ years' experience in a medium to large enterprise Cisco-based Network technical position. CCNA or equivalent experience-Solid understanding of EIGRP, BGP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, QOS, NAT and Multicast- In-depth understanding of other technologies such as Firewalls- Experience dealing with LEC's, Long-Haul carriers, and ISP's. Strong working knowledge of WAN technologies including MPLS and Frame Relay- Understanding of network analysis and monitoring tools such as LAN Analyzers, SNMP, and various statistical reporting tools.- Ability to perform and interpret packet captures that assist in the identification of a slow response or connectivity issue.- Cisco Application Control Engine
